What is kitting?
Kitting is grouping several separate items into one ready-to-use package sold under a single part number. Distributors kit items that are always used together, which saves the customer time on ordering, receiving and assembly.
Kitting example
The bolts, washers, gaskets and nuts for one pump installation are packed together under one SKU, so the maintenance team orders a single kit.
