AI for distributor IT and security teams
Put AI to work without rebuilding your ERP
Your teams want AI; you make it work with your systems. Proton connects to your ERP, and our in-house team implements it with yours.

“This was a tech project that was implemented on time and on budget, with the fastest return on investment I’ve ever been engaged with.”
Mike PageCMO & CTO, R.S. Hughes
“When we identified that Proton could deliver the AI models we knew we needed at a substantially reduced cost from us having to build a team internally and develop it custom, that was really compelling.”
Mike BurnsChief Information Officer, Benco Dental
“We have thousands of SKUs, hundreds of brands, and data across four warehouses. Proton processes this data and turns it into a meaningful format, allowing our sales team to make informed sales recommendations.”

Get the business moving and keep control of the connections
Connect the data without rebuilding around AI
Your data lives across ERPs, legacy systems, and files. Proton brings it together for AI agents and people to use. Our team works with yours on integration, record mappings, and refresh schedules, including for legacy systems that export data.

Get evidence for your security review
Request the SOC 2 Type II report, penetration-test summary, and architecture documentation in our Trust Center. Proton runs on Google Cloud, encrypts data at rest and in transit, and logically separates customer data. Review identity, access, and AI data-use requirements with our team before rollout.

- Logically separated data
- Quarterly vulnerability scans
- Annual penetration test
Choose what AI can do before it writes back
Proton does not write back to your ERP unless you configure it to. Your team chooses which agent actions can run automatically and which need approval. For order and quote entry, reps review drafts before submission. Test customer pricing, units, ship-tos, and warehouses against your ERP before going live.

12–14 weeks for ORS Nasco to go live
“We had to clean up some of our data in the process, but the implementation and integration into our other systems was fairly seamless.”Read the ORS Nasco story

Get an implementation team, not another project to staff
You have other projects. Proton’s in-house team handles implementation with your IT and business leads, and a dedicated customer success manager helps teams adopt it. Start with the data and workflows the business needs first, then plan the next steps around ERP changes and other priorities.

Frequently asked questions
Proton uses your customer, product and transaction data to make recommendations and carry out the workflows you choose. Pronto connects to OpenAI and Anthropic through enterprise APIs; those providers do not use that data to train their models. Proton stores Pronto chat history, and Anthropic also retains conversations. For each product you use, we explain which data powers Proton’s own models, what is retained and how deletion is handled.
Proton runs on Google Cloud, with controls documented in our SOC 2 Type II report, including restricted internal production access and security monitoring. Your security team can review the report and our Trust Center, then work with Security and Engineering on the data flows, permissions and staff access arrangements for your rollout. We also cover retention and subprocessors, so reviewers have concrete evidence and people who can answer the follow-up questions.
Access is configured for the connections, users and workflows you enable. We review the source-system permissions granted, who has access in Proton and which actions the chosen workflow will perform. For example, read-only email sync retrieves mailbox data, while a Pronto mail connection can draft or send through the user’s mailbox. Your IT team can review those differences before rollout and approve the connection with a clear picture of its access.
Yes. Proton supports SSO, and your IT team can connect your identity provider through guided setup, test sign-in in staging and coordinate the production switch with us. We also work through provisioning, role changes and offboarding with your administrators. SSO handles sign-in; user deactivation, connected-account revocation and data retention need their own agreed steps. Your team knows who owns each one before rollout.
Our in-house engineers handle the integration and maintain Proton’s connectors. We’ve successfully integrated with 100% of the ERPs our customers have brought us, including legacy and customized systems. We choose the right connection method, map the data and test it against your business rules. Your team provides system access, explains those rules and helps validate the results. We agree who owns any customer-side exports, so ongoing responsibilities are clear.
We test the chosen workflows with representative data and your team’s business rules before going live. That includes checking mappings and reviewing AI output; for an ERP writeback project, we test the agreed updates in staging or a sandbox as part of implementation. Your team helps define acceptance criteria and reviews the results. We can also plan a small-group rollout first, giving people time to try the workflow before access expands.
Our engineers maintain Proton’s connectors and work with your team when changes affect the data feeding the platform. For a planned ERP upgrade, new export format or credential change, we review the connection, update mappings where needed and validate the resulting data. Your team brings the system context; we bring the integration knowledge. If a feed stops updating, our support and engineering teams investigate with you, using the agreed ownership and escalation process.
Yes. Our in-house engineers connect and map your ERPs into Proton’s shared data foundation, so teams can work across systems without waiting for an ERP replacement. We configure common identifiers, account relationships and workflows around how your business units operate, then agree what updates, how often and who should see it. We validate the design against your actual data volumes and plan the rollout in phases, with a clear connection plan for each system.
